She was predeceased by: her husband Paul E. Purtell; and her son-in-law Robert Bucher. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Wilma), Patricia Bucher, Ralph (Carol) and Susan. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, and her 5 great grandchildren.
