He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Koper (Retzko) and Bolek Koper; his wife Mary Jane; his children, John (Fran), Jeanne (John), Mariann and Carol (Jon); his grandchildren, Jessica (John), Matthew (Alexis), John, Brandon, Samantha, Benjamin, Nicole, Mary and Gianna; his great grandchildren, Hank and Clark; and his brothers, Robert and Michael. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

He was my senior by about a decade and not in my work area so I was not in his circle of colleagues but still I got to know Harry as a very friendly, very energetic and very boisterous guy. Although I am neither Polish nor Russian, I had fun trying some Polish and Russian words and phrases I learned from friends on Harry and so I end with: Do widzenia, Harry!”
