He was predeceased by: his children, Francis Jr. and Victoria Ferrara; his parents, Andrew, Sr. Smolcynski and Victoria Smolcynski (Kotarski); his siblings, Andrew Smolcynski, Jr and Bernadine Nebrotskie; and his wife Philomena Marturano.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Smolcynski and Laurie Duca (John); his grandchildren, Andrea Duca, Nicole Duca, Joseph Ferrara Jr., Francis Ferrara and Vincent Ferrara; and his son Frank Jr..
