He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heim and Laura Heim; his son David Heim; and his siblings, Laura Dillard and George Heim.
He is survived by: his wife Florence K. Heim; his children, Scott Heim (Barbara) and Christine (Douglas Martin); his grandchildren, Lauren Prendergast (Thomas), Rebecca Coulter (Charles), Kyle (Shannon), Jacqueline, Katelyn, Shannon and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Kendall, Riley Prendergast, Davis, Owen Coulter and JoLynn; and his daughter-in-law Joanne Heim.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Elwood's memory may be made to the church mentioned above.
