She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen McAndress and John McAndress; her husband Robert Swope; and her siblings, Dot (Benedict), Betty (Brown), Peg (Hannah), Pat (Laessig), John and Jim McAndress.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert (P. J.), James (Kathy), Stephen (Patricia), Kenneth, John (Janet) and Kevin (Annie); her grandchildren, Diana Salas (Ysh), Kristina Swope, James Swope, Jr. (Lexie), Kelly Swope (Ray Lopez), Jaclyn Swope and Jenna Swope; and her great grandchildren, Teddy of Nora, J. J., Chelsea, Noah and Benjamin.
