Christine M. Izak Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine M. Izak of Warminster, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Michael Chomyn and Maria Chomyn; her former husband Zenovy "George"; her son Michael; and her granddaughter Alexandra.
She is survived by: her spouse Naval (Zenovy Izak); her children, John (Linda) and Kristine; and her grandchildren, Meghan, Michael and Melanie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church (430 N 7th Ave, Scranton, PA 18503).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to UNWLA, Ukrainian National Women's League of America, marked for their "Orphans Fund".
