She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles V. Walsh and Catherine V. Walsh (Foley); her husband John "Jack" Riva; and her sisters, Margie Walsh, Elizabeth Garofalo and Clare Esser.

She is survived by: her children, John Douglas Riva (Nancy) of Buckingham, Catherine Riva of Yardley, PA and Robert M. Riva of Ewing, NJ; her sisters, Catherine McEneney (Mike) of Bronx, NY and Mary Herdman of Wilmington, Del.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Brent, Kaitlyn Manning (Drew), Eric, Matthew, Michael and Christopher (Gabrielle).
