It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Shanholtz of Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conda Shipley and Dorothy Shipley (Elbin); her husband Julian Oscar Shanholtz; her daughter Barbara Jean Shanholtz; and her siblings, Violet Younker, Robert Shipley and Willard "Jack" Shipley.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Shanholtz (Barbara) of Fort Worth, TX, Darlene Harr (Rick) of Needmore, PA, Mark Shanholtz (Barbara) of Buck Valley, PA and Dean Shanholtz (Angie) of Buck Valley, PA.; and her grandchildren, Dewain Shanholtz-Clarke, Jason, Kyle Shanholtz, Randee Stepanik, Lindee Winfield, Curtis, Craig LeGrotte, Josh and Dorothy Hakakian. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buck Valley Christian Church (2281 Harmonia Rd, Warfordsburg, PA 17267). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Buck Valley Cemetery or charity of your choice.
