He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ritz and Mina Ritz (Hull); his wife Mary L. Ritz (Smith); his brothers, Donald and Jack Ritz; and his daughter Darlene C. Ritz.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard D. Ritz (Shirley Elbin) of Warfordsburg and Ronald G. Ritz of Warfordsburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
