She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel W. Smith and Beverly L. Smith (Clark); and her spouse Ryan Mellott. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lee Day, Sr. of Berkeley Springs, W. V and Kyle Eugene Harr of Portland, Ore.; her siblings, Sabrina Hann of Warfordsburg, Devon Smith of Winchester and Daniel Smith of Berkeley Springs; her grandchildren, Michael Lee Day, Jr. and Makayla Elizabeth Day; and her friends, Chewy and Sierra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
