We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, Rosie Carberry of Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rosie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rosie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert and Raymond Skitzki. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Carberry; her daughters, Amber Carberry (Jon) of White Haven and Brittany Carberry (Brian) of Dorrance; her siblings, Richard Skitzki of Hazleton and Shirley Sconfienza of Pottsville; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation (436 S Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, PA 18707). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary' Our Lady Help of Christians Church (3529 St Marys Rd, Wapwallopen, PA 18660). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (3529 St Marys Rd, Wapwallopen, PA 18660).
