He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eckhart and Edna Eckhart (Hoffman); his stepdaughter Holly Paxson (Robert); and his siblings, Warren Eckhart and Ethel Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Delores C. Green Eckhart (Strohl); his children, Gail Smith of Palmerton, Rita Snyder of Walnutport, Brenda (Clayton Fronheiser) of Palmerton, Ruby Berger of Palmerton and Jeffrey Eckhart of Lehighton; and his stepchildren, Leonard Green (Linda) of Lehighton, Candace (Charles Doncsecz) of Emmaus, Timothy Green of Whitehall and Susan (Scott Erb) of Slatedale. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
