He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Spangler and Alverta Spangler (Young) of Bethlehem; his wife Karen (Madea); his daughters, Stacie Spangler (Chris Coffey) of Glen Mills and Nicole (Luke Lohrman) of Nazareth; his grandchildren, Madison and Brynn Lohrman; his siblings, Sharon (William Bechtold) of Northampton and Richard Spangler of Bethlehem; his mother-in-law Dorothy Madea; and his siblings-in-law, David (Valerie Madea) and Dagmar Madea.
