He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Smith (Coffin); his parents, William Smith and Anna Smith (Frank); and his siblings, Geraldine Albertson, Mary Balliet, William Smith, Jr., Howard Smith and Leroy Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane A. (John F. Meckes, Jr.) of Nazareth; his grandson Matthew R. Meckes; his brother Clarence Smith (Florence) of Slatington; and his close friend Diane Cunfer.
