She was predeceased by: her spouse Lovett E. Best; her parents, Dale Smith and Beulah Smith (Carpenter); her grandson Robert M. Best; and her siblings, Dale Smith and Marlea Penberth.
She is survived by: her children, Michael R. C. Best (Connie) of Slatington, Suzanne L. (Bryon Kern) of Emerald, Kathy S. (Robert Marsh) of Slatington and Connie S. (Peter Kovacic) of Pottstown; and her brother Richard Smith of Schnecksville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
