He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Smith and Margaret Smith (Prutzman); and his brothers, Norman, Frederick and Gerald Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Smith (Kocher); his sons, Todd Furler of Whitehall and Trevor Fronheiser of Walnutport; his grandson Michael Fronheiser; and his sister Clara "Dolly" Gardner of Allentown.
