He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy K. McGowan and Eleanor McGowan (Bain). He is survived by: his wife Arlene M. McGowan (Meuschke); his children, Donald M. (Tess McGowan) of Slatington, Kathy L. McGowan of Lake Ariel, PA and Maureen A. McGowan of Brooklyn, NY; and his siblings, Lynn (Walter Dugan) of Villa Rica, GA, Susan (Eddie Pollich) of Farmingville, NY and Robert (Rosemary McGowan) of Woodbury, NY. He is also survived by five grandsons.
