He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kender and Mae Scott Kender; his former wife Ana Victoria Kender-Calero; his grandson Tyler Taggart; and his brother Michael Kender.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Carney Kender; his children, Robert, Scott, Sean, Alain and Susan; his stepchildren, Wendy Watson, Christy Rydel and Rebecca Carney; his siblings, Stephanie Santangelo and Thomas Kender; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Megan, Richard, Connor, Calley, Evan, Sofia, Catherine, Claire, Aidan, Ari, Isabella, William, Louis, Maximillien and Shawn; and his great grandchildren, Greyson and Kennedy. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
