He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Silva and Irene Silva. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Silva; his children, Maria, Eric, Katrina, Matthew (Maya), Nicholas (Andrea) and Peter; his grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Kaitlyn, Abby, Amelia, Jadzia and Ian; his great grandchild Gabriel; and his brother Joseph Silva (Pam). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, any donations be made in his name to the Seamen's Church (https://seamenschurch.org), or The Kent County Waterman's Association (Contributions go to college funding.
