He was predeceased by: his parents, George Coan, Sr. and Beatrice Garner Coan; and his sister Carol Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marie C. Serge Coan; his sons, Stephen Coan (Lorraine) and Kevin Coan (Denise); his sister Sandra Wagner; and his grandchildren, Conner, Brooke and Sophia.
