Blanchard and Jean Allin Blanchard; her husband Edward Shawl; her daughters, Catherine Regalado (Richard) of Highwood, IL and Jeannie Shawl of Pittsburgh, PA.; her brothers, Sandy Blanchard (Susan) of Shelton, CT and Bob Blanchard of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Sarah, Anne and Matthew Regalado; her niece Lauren Blanchard; her nephew Mike Blanchard; and her son Robert Allin Shawl.
