He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmet Hummel (Quick) and Blair Hummel; his wife Pauline A. Heny; and his siblings, Geraldine Knepp and Harold "Zeke" Hummel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharron Predix (Scott) of Reedsville, PA and Holly Kane (Michael) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Ed Hummel, Joel Predix, Haley Predix, Jarrett (CJ Predix), Darian Kane, David Kane and Dr. Alexander Kane (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Hudson Predix, Benjamin, Lucy Kane and Sebastian Walker.
