She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Shimmel and Jane Shimmel (Jones); her son-in-law Ken Shimmel; her siblings, Donald, Ralph, Marvin, Betty, Madeline Shimmel, Sally Britton and Pat Houben; and her parents-in-law, George and Betty Rothrock.
She is survived by: her husband George Rothrock; her children, Christle Showers, Joseph (Pam) of Wallaceton, Douglas (Mona) of Bigler, Georganne Zitsch (Ken) of Lanse, Missie Parks (Dave) of Baden and Mindie Scott (Matt) of Wallaceton; her grandchildren, Mandie Shaw (Brad), Prestyn Showers (Chelsea), Aaron Rothrock (Dawn), Whitnie Socie (Jason), Josiah Shimmel (Mary), Allan Shimmel (Mariah), Jacob Scott (Sarah), Nathan Rothrock (Evelyn), Daityn Rothrock (Jade), Rachel Carolus (Alex), Isaac Rothrock (Cheyenne), Joel Parks (Briana), Kelley Lanning (Nate), Julie Stodart (Drew), Noah, Jonathan Scott, Kaylianne, Simeon and Kendra Zitsch; her great grandchildren, Scott, Sean, Katie Shaw, Emmalyn, Brock, Sadie Showers, Brody, Gavin Rothrock, Tobi, Libbi, Tucker, Jillian Socie, Mia, Micah, Luke Shimmel, Jed, Jesse Scott, Asher, Judah Rothrock and Anna Rothrock; her siblings, Irene Greslick, Mary Fetzer of Philipsburg and Robert Shimmel of Houtzdale; and also Desmond.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory (113 N 3rd St, Clearfield, PA 16830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
