He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wampler and Ruth Wampler; his brother Dallas Wampler; his niece Janeen Neff; his stepdaughter Shannon Whitman; and his stepgrandson Darrin Whitman.
He is survived by: his children, Mack Wampler, Jr. (Linda) and Barbara Susan "Susi" Foran of Ashland, VA; his grandchildren, Doug Kerr and Barbie Kerr of Ashland; his sister Phyllis Neff of Washington, PA; his wife Norma Mercier; his stepson Shane Mercier (Diane) of Meadville, PA; his stepgrandchild McKenna Mercier; and his former wife Barbara. He is also survived by great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
