He was predeceased by: his parents, Tarquinio Mash and Maria Louisa "Louise" Mash (Mazzaferri); his stepfather Settimo Orelli (Sam); his wife Elizabeth "Betty"; and his siblings, Sam, Joseph, John, Arvel "Lefty", Sophie, Lena and Geraldine.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Shillow, Lynn Mash, Samuel Mash (Christine), Rev. Wesley Mash, Glenn Mash (Phyllis), James Mash (Heather Yeager) and Melanie Seyler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
