He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ross; his children, Edwin William Ross, Jr. (Stephanie), Catherine Ross Conlin and James D. Ross (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Abigail, Caroline, Lucas, E. William, III, Tyler and John; and his sister Sarah Fernley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
