She was predeceased by: her parents, George Karafa and Susanna Karafa (Tyre); her husband Paul P. Mehalik; and her siblings, Michael Karafa and Helen Steinhauser.
She is survived by: her children, Paul D. Mehalik (Judith) of Indiana, PA and Carolyn Mehalik of Penn Hills; her grandchildren, Lauren Mehalik Schantz (Brandon), Katherine Mehalik Melvin (Nicholas) and Paul Alex Mehalik; and her niece Karen Siudela.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A prayer was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 701 Foster Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110.
