He was predeceased by: his daughter Stefanie Nowocien; his parents, Feliks Nowocien and Jozefa Nowocien (Pawelec); and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Diane A. Nowocien (Twarowski); his children, Diane Jennifer Meeder (Michael) and Steve Nowocien, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tiffany and Colin Meeder; his siblings, Henry, John, Franek and Stan; his siblings-in-law, John Twarowski (Demond Lovelace), Stasia Guida (David) and Grace Haberman (James); his godchildren, Adam Misiaszek, Confirmation and Jerry Misiaszek; and his cousins, Henry and Lucy Lukasik.
