She was predeceased by: her husband Albert L. Simmers, Sr.; her parents, Clarence Ashbaugh and Helen Ashbaugh; and her sister Helen Lois Heinauer. She is survived by: her children, Helen Mae Simmers of North Carolina and Albert "Leroy" Simmers, Jr. of Verona; her grandson Jason Simmers (Melissa Smith); and her great grandchildren, Ian, Chelsea, Harper, Alicia, Joelle and Angelo.
