We bid farewell to Thomas D. Shreffler of Venus, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2024 at the age of 77. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Shreffler and Ruth Irene Shreffler (Etzel); and his sister Bonnie Ritner. He is survived by: his sons, Dana K. Shreffler (Gary Morgan) of Poteet, Robert W. Shreffler (Martha) of Venus and Brian T. Shreffler (Carol) of Venus; his grandchildren, Logan Shreffler (Josh) of Pittsburgh, Nicholas Shreffler (Katie) of Richmond, Alycia Sliker (Toby) of Franklin, Kristen Shreffler of Walnut Bend, Britney Long (Evan) of Portsmouth, Virginia, Kayla Sherman (Cory) of Oil City and Eric Hoover (Adrian) of Oil City; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Kennedy, Lucas, Tobias Sliker, Ethan, Ella Sherman, Olivia, Miles Shreffler and Oliver Hoover; his siblings, Margie Rimkus of Poteet, Texas, Edward Shreffler of Cranberry and James Shreffler (Linda) of Ashville; his siblings-in-law, Gerry Stivanson of Oil City and Andy Stivanson (Marcia) of Aiken; and his caregivers, Andrea and Linda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hile-Best Funeral Home (2781 PA-257, Seneca, PA 16346). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
