With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Burke (Venus, Pennsylvania), born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Burke and Mae Lillian Burke (Jewel); and his siblings, Richard Burke, Robert Burke, Margaret Jolley and Ella Mae McCauley.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Lilly of Meadville, Eve Meehan of Meadville, Robin Burke of Meadville, John R. Burke (Cassandra) of Cochranton, Theresa Beebe (Tom) of Kossuth, Jennifer Best (Dan) of Franklin, Scott Burke of Nineveh and Shiela Allen (Joe) of Venus; his grandchildren, Nicole, Gail, Jason, Bambi, Solomon (Heather), Danielle, Cody, Connor, Alayna, Kayla, Logan, Andrew, Samantha, Troy (Kylie) and Courtney; and his siblings, Betty Jane Tarr of Cooperstown, Dorothy Tarr of Rocky Grove, Joanne Exley (Jim) of Franklin and Raymond Burke (Lana) of Franklin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
