He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Boice and Mary Boice; his sister Phyllis Hackett; and his grandson Liam O'Toole. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his daughters, Bridget Hrzic (Mark) of Venetia, Chris Conley (Dave) of South Park, Denise Polizzano (Jim) of South Park and Carol O'Toole of Venetia; his grandchildren, Mandy (Ricco), Zack (Lindsey), Kelsey (Jason), Cory (Angelique), Mary, Meaghan (Marshall), Matt, Catie, Jimmy, Maille and Nora; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Charlie, Grace, Harper, Rader, Addie and Cade.
