He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred (Sokac); and his grandson Michael Swift. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Gallant of Edinboro, Sharon Swift of Saegertown and Tracy Yoos of Cambridge Springs. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
