He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert, Eugene Scanlon and Mary Lou Scanlon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne; his children, Gretchen Jones (Rick), Timothy Prince (Barbara), Denver, Colo and P. J. Scanlon (Tracy); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Ricky (Kyle Jones), Timothy (Amelia Prince) and Ian (Maggie Scanlon); and his sisters, Ann Prince and Joan Contratto.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave., Scranton, PA 18503.
