She was predeceased by: her husband Louis V. Kotar; her parents, John H. Emmons and Anna M. Maslar Emmons; and her siblings, Gene, William, George Emmons, Arlene Rasmussen and Eunice Lozinak.

She is survived by: her sister Lorraine Thompson of Binghamton, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
