He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Masankay and Maria Gatdula; and his brother Arturo "Ben" Masankay. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Masankay and Melissa Daniels (Rick); his sister Teresita; his grandchildren, Manuel Michael Jr., Kylie, Riley, Ashley, Ava, Addison and Ainsley; and also Robinette Ramos. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
