He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Orehek and Anna Androlowicz Orehek; his brothers, Leonard and Paul; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Orehek.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Salko Orehek; the father of his child Louis D. Orehek (Tammy) of Ambler, PA; his children, Luann Orehek Reno (Eric) of Downingtown, PA, Dr. Allen J. Orehek (Katherine) of Waymart, PA and Dr. Arlene A. Mueller (Dan) of Ephrata, PA; his grandchildren, Alessandra, Ashley, Logan, Cora, Louis Mark, Cossette, Preston, Simon, Shannon, Leah, Amanda, Bianca, Noelle, Natasha, Daniel, Luke and Vienna; his sister-in-law Helen Orehek; his nephew Leonard Orehek, Jr.; and his nieces, Linda Sue Orehek and Mary Anne Robinson.
