It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Tazelaar (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Tazelaar and Rica Tazelaar (Bolhuils); his wife Susan Tazelaar (Bicht); and his sister Arlene Faber. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Virag (Mark) of Natrona Heights, Leanne Rice (Richard) of Michigan, Lynn Durisin (Dan) of Michigan and Christine Fouse of Parks Township; his stepdaughters, Kathy Odgers (Alan) of Arizona and Shawne Krachenfels (Larry) of Michigan; and his sister Brenda Hiemstra of Michigan. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
