With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vito N. Palatella of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Palatella and Angelina Palatella (Matarrese); his wife Dolores M. Palatella (Cihat); his son-in-law Kevin Rimmel; and his sister Mary S. Palatella.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Marie Palatella (Jim Hicks) of Greensburg, Kathleen "Kathy" Rimmel of Lower Burrell, John S. Palatella (Sheila Bonney) of Olney, MD and Dianna N. Palatella (Josh Slingluff) of Crabtree; his grandchildren, Matthew Rimmel of Lower Burrell, Kirstie Palatella of Sykesville, MD, Juliana Palatella of Baltimore, MD, Anthony Palatella of Sykesville, MD, Angelina Slingluff of Crabtree and Nicole Slingluff of Crabtree; his sister Rosalind D. Riley (Palatella) of Washington Township; and his sister-in-law Darlene Stiles (Floyd "Skip") of Ebensburg, PA..
Please respect the current state mandates, which limit visitations to no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time, and the wearing of protective masks, and social distancing.
