With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edward McDermott (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 7, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Edward McDermott to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDermott and Winifred McDermott (Duffy) of Ardmore, PA.; his wife Joan McDermott (Ceraso); his brother James; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred McDermott and Virginia McDermott.
He is survived by: his brother John McDermott of Chicago; his grandchildren, Laura Mullican (Pete), Patrick McDermott, Andrew, Ryan, Connor McDermott, Maggie, Michael, Annie Klingensmith, Neal, Abby, Owen and Carson McDermott; and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Emilia Mullican. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid19 restrictions and safety concerns, the family has elected to forgo public visitation.
