He is survived by: his wife Emily Joyce Townsend Carney of Vandergrift; and his children, Robert L Carney (Julie) of Chandler, AZ, Keith L. Carney (Kim) of Newport and Pamela F. Carney (Kevin) of Leechburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
