It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Mahlon of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mahlon and Mildred Mahlon (Spencer); his stepson Robert "Jim" Boop; and his siblings, William Pursely, Carol Johnson, Marilyn Weber and Thomas Mahlon.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Daughtery Edward (John) and Steven Boop (Amy); and his siblings, Jackie Cramer (Leroy) of Lutersburg, Vesta Haney of Grampian, James Mahlon of Morrisdale, Terry Mahlon (Melanie) of Grampian and Craig Mahlon of Grampian.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Orphans of Storm 412 Hill Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
