It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary R. (Donghia) Amaranto (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Donghia and Maria Donghia (Tinelli); her husband Frank Amaranto; and her siblings, Alice M. Chieffalo, Frank and Tony Donghia.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Amaranto (Kathleen Pierwsza) of West Vandergrift and Gary Amaranto (Tessie) of Kiski Township; her brothers, Paul Donghia of West Vandergrift and Charlie Donghia of Kepple Hill; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Donghia of West Vandergrift and Nina Sindlinger-Donghia of Linesville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, Pa. 15690.
