He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Hoover and Mary Helen Maurey Hoover; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Hoover, Betty Maskrey and Shirley Stephenson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kovalcik Hoover of Vandergrift; his sons, Aaron Hoover (Nicole) of Peters Township and Kenny Hoover (Brandie) of Randolph, OH.; his grandchildren, Meagan Saal (Colton), Matthew Hoover (Jessica) and Jacob "Peter Rodie" Hoover; and his great grandchildren, Sophie and Audrey Saal.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dunmire-Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. (244 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
