It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Morgante of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Wiedl and Marie Wiedl (Van Thiel); her husband Richard P. Morgante; and her siblings, Helen Love (Wiedl) and Gustave Wiedl.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Smith (Greg) of Tarentum and Richard W. Morgante (Debbie Marranconi) of Vandergrift; her grandchildren, Samantha Smith (Giancarlo Speranza) and Michael Smith; and also James Loew. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kathleen may be made to the National Jewish Health Research Hospital, American Lung Association or the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank.
