He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" McDonald; and his daughter Rebecca McDonald. He is survived by: his mother Marlene McDonald (Snyder) of Spring Church; his wife Chrysta L. McDonald (Covey); his children, Sarah Barker of Vandergrift, Dakota McDonald of Vandergrift and Shawn McDonald of Vandergrift; and his siblings, James McDonald of Kittanning, Jason McDonald (Mendie) of Vandergrift, Justin McDonald of Spring Church, Matt McDonald of Spring Church, Charlene Montgomery of Avonmore, Wanda Pierce (Tim) of North Washington, Susan Ashcraft of North Apollo and Jackie Talmadge (Lee) of Allegheny Township. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
