It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John M. Gardetto (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gardetto and Domenica Gardetto (Cuffia); his siblings, Louise, Dominic and Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Gardetto (Donghia) and Walt Kozkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gardetto (Smietana); his children, Leona Matusiak (Steve) of Woodbridge, Charles Gardetto (Nancy) of Adamstown and Anthony Gardetto (Susan) of Center Valley; his grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, John, Lauren, Nicholas, Andy and Phillip; and his great grandchildren, Noel, Joseph and Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to the Dementia Society of America, AHN Homecare, Hospice and Palliative Care, 500 Commonwealth Drive, 1st Floor, Warrendale, Pa. 15086, or to the American Cancer Society.
