It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Doka (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), born in Eau Claire, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Doka and Katherine Doka (Holler); his wife Jean M. Doka (Borello); his grandson Larry J. Doka; and his siblings, Michael, Lester Doka, Mary Wensconis (Doka), Isabel Preveni (Doka) and Bertha Doka.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry M. Doka (Deborah) of Allegheny Township and Lance J. Doka (Diane) of O'Hara Township; his granddaughters, Michelle L. Story (Joshua) of Jasper, TN and Natalie L. Doka of O'Hara Township; his great grandchild Alexis M. Doka of Allegheny Township; and his great great grandchildren, James and Meliah.
Due to state mandates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions made in James's memory to Vandergrift Meals on Wheels, 167 Lincoln St. Vandergrift, PA 15690.
