He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Franczyk and Anna Dziak Franczyk; and his brothers, Albert, Bernard Franczyk and Emmanuel Franczyk.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Waros Franczyk; his daughter Maryann Cecchi (Michael); his granddaughters, Paula Bertetto (Brady), Gina Cecchi (Matt) and Maria Bertetto (Curtis); his great grandchildren, Ava Bertetto, Nicole Bertetto and Vincent Bertetto; and his sister Helen Kolakowski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
