She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Makowski; her son John Makowski; her siblings, Fred Pugliese, Richard Pugliese, Eugene Pugliese, Arnold Pugliese and RoseAnne Hileman; and her grandson Marcus Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Christine McLaughlin (Ronald) of Auburn, Francine Whaley of Apollo and Vincent Makowski (Amy) of Vandergrift; her siblings, Melvyn Pugliese of Arizona, Theresa Eggert of Pittsburgh and Elaine Marsilio of California; her grandchildren, Tyler Whaley (Jessica), Trina Abbott (Mark), Miriah Kimmell (Doug) and Samantha Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Lucy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
